Leon Berghoff

Before founding Paladan in late 2024, Leon served as Trader at Convex Energy (2023–2024), Head of Trading at J3L Capital (2022–2023), and Quantitative Trader at Sixtant (2020–2022), following an operating role as COO at 21e6 Capital and earlier quantitative roles at Blocksize. Leon has worked with, and helped incept, multiple crypto quantitative funds—guiding them from strategy proof-of-concept through launch, capital formation, and live operations—while navigating market regime shifts and evolving exchange infrastructure. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Data Science (scholarship) and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and began his career with internships in derivatives sales (LBBW), financial services (KPMG), and M&A (Flick Gocke Schaumburg).
